Half-term meanderings

Dear all,
We hope that you are having a wonderful half-term holiday. Mrs Sharp and I enjoyed a peruse in Waterstones on Saturday morning… there seem to be lots of excellent books out at the moment. We spotted the new Robert Stevens; ‘The Wolf Wilder’ by Katherine Rundell, ‘Cog Heart’ by Peter Bunzl; ‘The Girl of Ink and Stars’ by Kiran Millwood-Hargrave and ‘Wolf Hollow’ by Lauren Wolk to name a few.
While we were browsing, little did we know that the author, Jane Corry, was in the store talking to shoppers about her new novel: My Husband’s Wife (Sunday Times Top 10 bestselling Thriller). Having the opportunity to talk with Jane, Mrs Sharp and I were inspired to buy her novel (which she signed for us) and are very much looking forward to reading it. Jane Corry kindly also spoke to us about how to help and inspire young writers- do comment below or email us if you want to know what she said!

Thanks for posting Ms M! I’m worried the rest of the English department might be a tad jealous…
